Abstract
This article was written in response to the ‘Power of Us!’ conference which was held in May 2025 at the University of Plymouth. The conference focused on how we can make our schools and education systems more inclusive for the purpose of giving all students the opportunity to flourish and thrive in education. My account speaks of the preparation for the event and my own experiences in school as both a student and as an educator.
