Abstract
There cannot be many members of thedental team who have not needed to takeimpressions for a patient with a strong gagreflex. The process can be stressful for cliniciansand patients alike because failure to takeimpressions for these patients may meanabandoning the proposed treatment, acceptinga compromised outcome and a sense of failureby both parties.
