Abstract
Container shipping companies play a crucial role in global trade and bear significant social and environmental responsibilities. Given resource constraints, identifying key sustainable drivers is essential for guiding investments. This study explores sustainability drivers in South Korean liner shipping companies using stakeholder theory. Through literature reviews, expert interviews, and fuzzy Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (f-DEMATEL) method, six key drivers were identified. Sustainability performance improvement emerged as the most important driver. The study also reveals complex casual relationships among the drivers. These findings offer valuable academic and managerial insights.
