Evolving UK biology education

Abstract
School science curriculum reform is underway in the UK. Whilst each of the four devolved nations is at a different stage in this process, it is clear we are entering an era of opportunity for positive change, where curricula can be updated to reflect our current understanding of science and to better prepare learners for further study, work, and modern life more broadly.
