Abstract
Health is comprised of multiple dimensions – physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual health. If HPE develops all dimensions of health then what does the spiritual dimension look like? Definitions of ‘spirituality’ will be investigated, as will research connecting HPE and Religious Education within Catholic Education schools. This connection is significant as Religious Education is often perceived as the foundation to the life of Catholic schools. Can we do more with the HPE – spiritual health dimension in Catholic/Christian or religious schools? What about the spiritual health dimension in government schools?
