<jats:sec> <jats:title>Review question/objective:</jats:title> <jats:p>The objectives of the review are to determine:<jats:list list-type="bullet"><jats:list-item><jats:p>The effectiveness of non-pharmacological interventions for OH in elderly people and people with a neurological condition.</jats:p></jats:list-item><jats:list-item><jats:p>Whether, in the elderly or people with a neurological condition who have OH, non-pharmacological interventions:<jats:list list-type="plain"><jats:list-item><jats:p>- are effective in improving OH, resting blood pressure and cerebral blood flow</jats:p></jats:list-item><jats:list-item><jats:p>- allow more or earlier mobilization (especially standing) to undertake activities of daily living and/or participate in rehabilitation programs</jats:p></jats:list-item></jats:list> </jats:p></jats:list-item></jats:list> </jats:p> <jats:p>Specifically, the review question is:</jats:p> <jats:p>What is the evidence base for non-pharmacological interventions in treating orthostatic hypotension (OH) in elderly people and people with a neurological condition?</jats:p> </jats:sec>
