Abstract
Series of 28 photomontages and blue tape, part of 28 by 28 group show curated by Polly MacphersonThese are pools in which I’ve swum. For 28 days in February, I combined found and made photographs of civic indoor and outdoor swimming pools in Canada and Chile with their associated archival maps and documents. The work explores the swimming pool as biopolitical - as it carves out, displaces and transforms ‘native land'
