Abstract
Sender/Receiver: Mathew Emmett’s experimental sound performance with TIWWA at the Switch House TATE, connects us to an expanded sonic horizon, from the most primitive sublanguages, to the most highly digitally developed; in each case we are confronted by the same mysterious act of communication. This piece is part of the iDAT installation designed for the opening weekend for the new Tate Modern, 17-19th June 2016.Sender Receiver was performed with This Is Where We Are is an immersive sculptural space exploring art, technology, sound and image, driven by the data we all generate. Come and contribute to this collective, dynamic digital artwork created by i-DAT working with Tate Collective London.[Interactive soundscape]
