dc.description.abstract

Homelessness remains a topic of intense media interest and government action has highlighted the need to develop a comprehensive strategy to address homelessness and the health inequalities that result. While there is fantastic work going on across the country to address the needs of the homeless population there is little discussion of oral health and how to integrate it more fully into the wider public health response. In this paper, Robert Witton and Martha Paisi cover the major issues and what can be done to improve this position.
