dc.description.abstract

In the available published literature there is little information on the Early Cretaceous strata of the Southern North Sea Basin (Mesozoic Basin). The small amount of Information that has been published i s the result of the search for hydrocarbons (see Chapter 2) . This thesis attempts to remedy the lack of information by a stratigraphical study of the Early Cretaceous strata in boreholes from the Southern North Sea Basin (U.K. sector blocks 44 and 49).
