Effectiveness and user experience of web-based interventions for increasing physical activity in people with multiple sclerosis

Abstract

<jats:sec> <jats:title>Review questions/objectives:</jats:title> <jats:p>The overall aim of this comprehensive systematic review is to explore the use of web-based interventions for increasing physical activity levels in people with a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS).</jats:p> <jats:p>The quantitative objectives are to identify:<jats:list list-type="bullet"><jats:list-item><jats:p>The clinical effectiveness of web-based interventions in enabling people with MS to increase their physical activity levels as evaluated by measures of physical activity.</jats:p></jats:list-item><jats:list-item><jats:p>If (short- or long-term) web-based interventions enable people with MS to achieve the physical activity levels recommended in guidelines for adults with MS. <jats:sup>1</jats:sup>
