Description

Welcome to the Proceedings of the University of Plymouth Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business (FoAHB) Doctoral Conference. This Proceedings presents the abstracts of all accepted papers and posters showcased during this event held on 6-7 June 2024. The conference is organised by a group of FoAHB PhD students, academic staff, school Coordinators for PGRs and Professional Doctorates. The primary objective of the conference is to provide FoAHB doctoral students with a supportive environment to present their research findings, exchange ideas, and receive constructive feedback from peers and faculty members. Through this collaborative endeavour, we aim to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and contribute to the advancement of knowledge within the SHAPE domains (Social Sciences, Humanities, Arts, and Performance). It's a place where interdisciplinary discussions thrive, and where cutting-edge research takes centre stage. We believe that this Proceedings represents a thoughtful selection of research papers and posters that strive to address the conference's main theme with balance and interest. We trust that readers will find the content both engaging and insightful. Enjoy the publication!
